Hockey

Australia has an enviable reputation in both women and men's hockey. Australian hockey is characterized by attacking skills. The men's team is a regular Olympic medallist and the interstate hockey league is the highest standard national league of any of the hockey nations.

AISA boasts an international hockey venue at the Buderim hockey complex on the Sunshine Coast. In addition to a personalised coaching and practice program, AISA students can be placed with local Club sides and regularly compete at club level with current national and state league players.

AISA is now aligned with 1&9 Coaching which was started by Jamie Dwyer and Mark Knowles from the Olympic medal winning “Kookaburras” hockey team. Jamie was voted "Best Player in the World" in 2007.
